General recommendations on a computer's configuration for Forward TT, TA and TP products based on the FD842, FD422 or FD322 boards (one- and two-channel modes) and Forward TS IP/ASI products:

1. Windows compatible computer.
2. Separate HDD for operating system (not necessary but preferable), it may be SSD.
3. And separate HDD for videocontent (approx. 500 GB for every SD channel and 2TB for every HD channel)
4. 64-bit Windows (Windows 7, Windows 10)
5. In case of using IP-streams we recommend to use at least 2 network cards. One is for internal LAN and the others are for input and output MPTS streams.
6. Separate VGA is not needed unless motherboard doesn't have it.
7. RAM: 3-4GB and up for SD channel and 6-8GB and up for HD channel.
8. CPU: starting from Intel Intel Core i3 (for a single SD channel). Clockspeed is crucial, rather than number of cores (physical and virtual). Clockspeed should be at least 2.8-3GHz. AMD processors are also suitable in some cases.
9. The particular CPU model depends on the product type, number and resolution of channels, compression AVC/MPEG2 type (if used) and additional plugins (if used). For some tasks, Intel Core i3 is enough.

Attention!
You don't have to have exactly the same model of CPU or motherboard. For CPU it's important that it is similar in basic characteristics (clockspeed and numbers of cores). The motherboard is chosen based on the CPU model and FD cards (if used).
