FD788 board

This board is used for input/output and processing of digital video signals in SD/HD/3G/UltraHD SDI and ASI formats.

The FD788 board is the hardware for all multi-channel products: Forward Goalkeeper, Forward Referee, Forward Ingest, Focus virtual studios. It can also be used as part of Forward T and Forward TS products. There is a Fill + Key mode for external mixing.

Main features of the FD788 board:

  • PCI-Express x4 bus
  • Supports SD/HD/3G/Ultra HD-SDI, ASI signals
  • Supports mixed modes, for example: SD-SDI + HD-SDI or SDI + ASI
  • 8 HD-BNC connectors for connecting signals
  • Arbitrary configuration of inputs and outputs of the board. There is no hard physical division of connectors into inputs and outputs. The user can define the number of inputs and outputs he needs.

  • 1 x HD-BNC input for connecting an external analog sync source (Black Burst, Tri-level sync)
  • 8 x HD-BNC connectors - any one can be used as input or output for connecting SDI/ASI signals. The configuration is defined by the user.

    The HD-BNC-> BNC adapters for conection input and output signals to board are included.
