"Focus" Virtual Studios - Connections

The "Focus" virtual studios are based on using the video and audio input/output of FD300 board. The FD300 board delivery set includes a cable set with the totality of RCA connectors to connect external devices. BreakOut Boxes

BreakOut Boxes are used to get higher quality of processing video signals and usability when working with "Focus" virtual studios. BreakOut Boxes with connectors for external devices can be supplied optionally. Two variants are available: passive and active breakout box.

Virtual studios, whose configuration provides the ability to connect additional video signals including a synchronization signal (the GenLock option), can use the enhanced BreakOut Boxes TF783A, TF783B, TF783C with the ability to connect all the signal sources and receivers to one BreakOut Box:

TF783A

BreakOut Box TF783A is used in systems with the ability to connect four video signal sources (two additional input channels) and the option of synchronizing the output signal to the external device (GenLock). The connectors of the video input groups VIDEO INPUTS 1 (A, B, C, D) and VIDEO INPUTS 2 (A, B, C, D) are designed to connect two signal sources; groups VIDEO INPUTS 3 (A, B, C, D) and VIDEO INPUTS 4 (A, B, C, D) - to connect two additional sources; group VIDEO INPUTS 5 - to connect the external synchronization source. The video outputs are grouped as VIDEO OUTPUTS: RED/V/C, GREEN/Y, BLUE/U/CVBS and CVBS/CSYNC. The connectors of the groups AUDIO INPUTS and AUDIO OUTPUTS are ised to connect the input and output audio signals respectively.

TF783B

BreakOut Box TF783B is designed to connect only video signal sources. To work with output video signals, use additional breakout boxes or the cable set with connectors.

TF783C

BreakOut Box TF783C is designed to connect only video signal sources, with no ability to connect audio signals. Audio sources and receivers are connected to an additional breakout box or the cable set with connectors used to connect video signal sources.

The connection cable used to connect the BreakOut Boxes TF783A, TF783B, TF783C to the Virtual Studio has two or three branchings at one of the ends.

To determine the correspondence of connections, use the color marks at the ends of the branchings or numbering. The type of connections is usually determined by the system configuration file.
